TECHNICIANS QUALIFICATION SYSTEM LEVEL ONE COURSE
The Level One Scuba Technician course is designed for personnel who want to become a service technician for the systems Scuba divers rely on to keep them alive and be effective during a dive. The course provides the knowledge, skills and ability to prepare, understand and independently troubleshoot air-based Scuba equipment. At the conclusion of the course the student will be equipped with:
- A clear understanding of the working principles of Scuba equipment.
- The ability to follow manufacturer’s manuals and schematics.
- The knowledge to use standard reporting and quality control forms.
- The requirements to comply with safe servicing techniques.
- The practical ability to service Scuba equipment. and
- Certification on specific brands of Scuba products.
Course duration is 5 days the majority of which is practically based.
Subsequent brand updates and additional brand certifications can be sought through TQS and will be tailored to suit student/operator requirements.
