THE TECHNICIAN’S QUALIFICATION SYSTEM
The Technician’s Qualification System (TQS) delivers a tiered approach ensuring personnel who work with Scuba equipment are appropriately trained and capable of delivering a quality service to the diving community. When a TQS technician works on any Scuba equipment both suppliers and users can be confident the work will be carried out to the highest standards.
The base tier of TQS is Level One and for most people, is the entry technician level. TQS Level One courses include:
- TQS Field Technician.
- TQS Level One Scuba Technician (Air).
- TQS Level One Scuba Technician (Air- Resort).
TQS Level Two is an advanced technician course and provides an experienced technician with the skills and knowledge to safely work on Nitrox equipment.
TQS Level Three certifies appropriately experienced technicians as instructors.
TQS also offers an Air Fill Panel Operator course.
